Concentric Collector

Concentrating solar thermal collectors are particularly suitable for generating process heat and electricity where climatic regions with high direct solar irradiation are available and heat generation with temperature range from 150°C – 500°C are possible with efficiency range 50 -70%.
 Various types of thermal media, such as thermal oil, are used in conjunction with the type of project and temperature range, the thermal media then passes through proper chambers to generate steam as per required pressure and temperature.
 Concentrating type solar collectors are also used for solar cooling systems to generate chilled water using solar thermal energy.
